This course covers the steps in modelling, analyzing, and optimizing a sour water stripper via ProMax, with special focus on sour water originating from an acid gas compression train. Access to ProMax is not needed for this webinar, which will take approximately 1 hour. The webinar is hosted over MS Teams, and information on how to connect to the session will be provided after registration. • Process flow overview and engineering discussion of the technology involved.

• Procedure to model the unit in Promax.

• Special focus on sour water stripping of water knocked out in acid gas compression trains.

• Evaluation of various key performance indicators and process optimization.
