Event-Based Emission Estimations

ProMax can predict emissions from different venting scenarios that do not occur continuously. The Blowdown Emissions template allows users to estimate VOCs, HAPs, methane, and CO 2 emitted during a variety of depressurization events. Through a simple Excel input interface, users can track emissions from blowdowns of pig launchers and receivers, compressors, plunger lift operations, etc.

The Pipe Leak Analysis can be used to estimate the mass rate, on a component-by-component basis, exiting a pipe or vessel leak. Vaporization of tank contents during spills can also be quantified using ProMax.
